The Forgotten Short Sale Tool

Brother MFC-8440 has been my short sale helper

MFC-8440 Ultimate Short Sale Tool?

O.K. I will wax sentimental here. Forgive me… I just celebrated five years of marriage last November 20th to my wife. When I got married I also researched for an affordable digital copier, fax, machine and scanner. What I found in my research was the Brother MFC 8440.

In real estate and especially the short sale niche there are lots and lots of documents flying back and forth. What I loved about this all in one printer other than the fact that the toner it takes is almost free is that it has a 50 page auto feeder for the scanner and it can scan one page every 2 seconds.   The feeder after five years still works flawlessly… never jamming. Never pulling two pages at once. I can litterally press the scan button and walk away and 2 minutes later will have 50 pages in all in one little supper handy and supper small PDF file.

I have worked in quite a few offices but usually the $5,000 machines you see in a big office aren’t even as fast or quick as my MFC 8440. If you research you can even upgrade this machine to make it ready to scan over the network. Best of all the price is only 139.00. I have been toying with the idea of requiring all my agents to have one. There is nothing more annoying than getting a low quality scan from someone. It could actually cause delays in a short sale deal and cause a closing not to happen. So many agents have no idea that great technology is this cheap.  To your short sale success… do your self a favor and buy a Brother MFC-8440!

MFC-8440 I love you!
