Get 15k check as reward for stealing a home in Cleveland

Legislation just passed in the senate that will be perfect for people who are looking for a great deal in today’s buyers market by purchasing a foreclosed home. We will be waiting as this legislation is sent to Congress and finally the President’s desk for the final signature. However here are some of the things that it will do:

      • Offer a direct tax credit to any one who purchases any home!
    • Tax credit would be equal to 10% of the purchase price or $15,000
    • Purchases must be made within one year legislation ennactment

It will not have to be repaid!

    • Buy quickly and you can claim it in your 2008 taxes
    • Must be your PRINCIPLE RESIDENCE
    • The Credit would be recaptured if the home sold within two years of purchase
    • This would sunset the current $7,500 housing tax credit on the date of enactment

Remember this is a tax credit not a tax deduction. This means your taxes are actually reduced by the full amount of the credit. So if you buy a house for $150,000 house today you may get as much as a $15,000 check back. That is in addition to any savings you may have negotiated by purchasing an under valued foreclosure or short sale.
